George and Amal Clooney‘s kids joined them for a rare outing in Lake Como, Italy weeks after the family were forced to evacuate their French home.

On August 10, the couple and their 9-year-old twins, Ella and Alexander, attended a fundraising dinner benefiting the Clooney Foundation for Justice at Villa Passalacqua in Lake Como, Italy. In photos obtained by Hola!, the family arrived by boat alongside other guests.

The Ocean’s Eleven actor, 65, wore a light gray suits while his human rights lawyer wife, 48, wore a black midi dress with embroidered flowers. Their rarely seen kids, whose faces were blurred in the photos, also opted for formal looks. Ella wore a gold dress, while Alexander chose a light-colored blazer, just like his dad.

The Clooney family’s outing comes less than two weeks after they were forced to evacuate their home in Brignoles, France, amid wildfires raging in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region. George and Amal announced their evacuation in a public letter to Brignoles Mayor Didier Brémond, admitting that they weren’t sure if their home would survive and extending well wishes to the local community.

“Dear Didier, At this point we have no idea whether our beautiful home makes it through this terrible moment,” the letter began, per People.

“As we evacuate Brignoles we want to emphasise 2 things, first we hope you and the people of our city are safe and second that Amal and I are committed to making sure that whatever happens to our village, we are part of this community and we’ll be part of making it whole,” they wrote. “We love Brignoles and our friends who live there.”

As a result of the fires, around 224,000 people were evacuated in the Gironde region of France and another 3,000 in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region, per CNN.
