Harper Beckham It’s Official: After an Unexpected Setback, Harper Beckham Finally Reveals the Name of Her Upcoming Beauty Brand

You have probably watched at least one of those viral family beauty videos – the ones where a teenager cheerfully swipes blush across her dad’s cheeks while her mom films and the internet collectively melts. If the family in question happens to be the Beckhams, the clip probably racked up millions of views before you even hit play. But behind those lighthearted moments, something far more strategic has been taking shape. The youngest Beckham is not just playing with makeup anymore. She is building a brand, and the road to get there has already had a few unexpected detours.

A trademark setback and the name that almost was

Harper Beckham, the youngest child of David and Victoria Beckham, initially filed a trademark application with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office for her planned beauty venture. That application, however, was rejected. According to reports in the British press, the original name under consideration was refused because the term Hiku was already registered for personal care products and fragrances. To complicate matters further, the name Harper also conflicted with an existing trademark in the cleaning products sector.

For a teenager who just celebrated her 15th birthday on July 10, a legal rejection from a federal agency might sound like a discouraging start. But if growing up in one of the most high-profile families in the world teaches you anything, it is resilience – and a knack for pivoting quickly. So what did Harper do? She found a new name, and she found it fast.

Just two months after the initial setback, Harper reportedly secured a fresh identity for her project. The new name is Halo by Harper, a choice described as having a modern, gender-neutral feel. It is a deliberate departure from the earlier attempts, and it signals a brand that wants to speak to a broad audience rather than boxing itself into a narrow lane.

What we know about Halo by Harper so far

Details remain limited, but what has emerged paints a picture of a venture with real commercial ambition. While an official launch date has yet to be announced, industry reports suggest Halo by Harper is expected to debut in 2027. The target audience? Generation Z and Generation Alpha consumers, two demographics that are already reshaping the beauty market with their preferences for authenticity, inclusivity, and clean formulations.

The product range is reportedly set to include both skincare and makeup, which positions Halo by Harper in the sweet spot of the market where younger consumers are spending most enthusiastically. This is not a vanity project riding on a famous surname. The planning around audience, timing, and product category suggests there is genuine strategic thinking behind the scenes.

And who better to guide that strategy than someone who has already done it? Victoria Beckham launched Victoria Beckham Beauty in 2019, and the brand has since become one of the most successful celebrity beauty labels in the industry. It reportedly generated $2.5 million in revenue during its first three months alone, contributing to Victoria Beckham’s fashion and beauty business becoming profitable from 2022 onward. That kind of track record makes Victoria a natural mentor for her daughter’s ambitions.

A passion years in the making

For anyone who has followed the Beckham family closely, Harper’s move toward the beauty world is hardly a surprise. Growing up around her mother’s makeup collection, she frequently appeared in Victoria Beckham Beauty content, helping demonstrate products in videos that often went viral on social media. Those clips were not staged press moments – they felt genuine, warm, and surprisingly informative for content featuring a preteen.

Some of the brand’s most memorable tutorials featured Harper applying makeup techniques while even recruiting David Beckham as a willing model. Those videos gave fans a glimpse of the family’s playful dynamic and, perhaps more importantly, showed that Harper had a real comfort level with products, application, and the camera. That combination of ease and enthusiasm is hard to manufacture.

Victoria herself once revealed in 2018 that Harper dreamed of becoming an inventor when she was younger. In a way, launching a beauty brand at fifteen is not so far from that original ambition. She is creating something from scratch, solving the puzzle of branding and identity, and preparing to put a product into the world that did not exist before. That is invention, just with a different set of tools.

What this means for the next generation of beauty

Harper Beckham is preparing to launch her own brand while following the path her mother helped pioneer, but Halo by Harper is arriving in a beauty landscape that looks very different from the one Victoria entered in 2019. The consumers Harper is targeting have grown up with social media, expect transparency, and are loyal to brands that feel personal rather than corporate. A gender-neutral name, a Gen Z and Gen Alpha focus, and a family pedigree in the beauty space – the foundation is there.

We do not yet know what the formulas will look like or what price point the line will hit. But we do know this: a fifteen-year-old who has already navigated a federal trademark rejection and come out the other side with a stronger brand name is not someone who is going to be easily discouraged. Keep an eye on 2027.
