Eamonn Holmes and Phillip Schofield have been locked in an ongoing feud since Phil's departure from ITV over an affair with a younger male colleague.

Eamonn, 64, has openly shared his dislike of the Cast Away star, 62, with the pair's warring words sparking a feud that's been dubbed one of the biggest in showbusiness. 

According to The Mirror, Phillip believes Eamonn's 'personal vendetta' against him comes from being axed from the This Morning Friday slot in favour of Dermot O'Leary and Alison Hammond.

A friend of Phillip's told the publication that Eamonn was 'consumed with jealousy that Friday rated poorly compared to the rest of the week'. 

It has also been claimed Eamonn was upset that Phillip never messaged him after he and his now estranged wife Ruth Langsford were axed from the ITV daytime show. 

During his Channel 5 series Cast Away, Phillip slammed an ITV colleague who 'threw him under the bus,' and a source previously told The Sun that he was referring to Eamonn.

However, a source close to Eamonn told MailOnline: 'Phillip is going around trying to get people to feel sorry for him when the reality is he's brought everything that's happened upon himself.

'He just needs to own it and stop trying to hit out at everyone else. Eamonn has no relationship with Phillip these days. They're not friends. But his conscience is clear over everything that has happened in the past between them.'

As the feud between the former co-stars rumbles on, MailOnline takes a look at which stars are supporting who.  

Amanda Holden has enjoyed a friendship with Eamonn over the years and have exchanged playful banter on this morning.

And the Britain's Got Talent judge has also made no secret of her animosity for Phillip Schofield.

Amanda previously said she believes that in 2018, Phillip sabotaged her chances of filling in on This Morning while Holly Willoughby hosted I'm A Celeb.

Rochelle Humes landed the presenting job while Phillip's regular co-host Holly took over Ant McPartlin's hosting duties for I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here.

In a resurfaced video, Amanda was questioned about her feud with Phil by her Heart Radio co-star Jamie Theakston.

As he tried to approach the subject, Amanda told him: 'I've moved on from it, Jamie, you need to move on from it.'

Pressing further, he quizzed: 'You might have moved on but I just wanted to know, is there any more to the story?'

Amanda told Jamie she had tried to reach out to Phil, but her attempts to arrange a meet up to clear the air were ignored.

She said: 'I did offer to meet him for a coffee months ago, he didn't reply to my text. What can I say?'

'The olive branch had been extended?' Jamie asked.

In reference to Taylor Swift and Katy Perry amending their friendship after a public falling out by dressing as burger and fries in her music video You Need To Calm Down, Jamie asked if Amanda if she and Phil would have a 'burger and fries' moment.

Amanda said: 'I doubt it. I'm a vegetarian Jamie.' 

In 2014 ITV gave her an opportunity to shine on This Morning alongside Phillip while Holly Willoughby was on maternity leave.

But what looked like a safe partnership quickly turned sour as the pair clashed following Amanda's exit, when Phillip questioned her hosting skills in a magazine interview, saying: 'She has a faulty edit button and she forgets she's on the telly, which is enormously endearing and funny, but occasionally quite scary.'

Eamonn will surely receive support from his friend and GB News co-host Isabel Webster.

The pair front the channel's morning show Breakfast With Eamonn And Isabel and have known each other since their days on Sky News.

Isabel previously told Hello! magazine she and Eamonn have long been close and she knows she can always confide in him for support. 

She said: 'Yes, he's seen me cry. I know I could call him in the middle of the night if I had a crisis.

'We often have a huddle in the make-up room with the make-up artists before we go on air and have a bit of a bitch about what's going on in our lives – a bit of a gossip.

'He constantly helps and looks after me in a protective way.'

One of Eamonn's longest-standing showbiz friendships is with fellow Northern Ireland native and Loose Women star Gloria Hunniford.

The pair have known each other for decades so its undoubtable Gloria will be supporting her longtime friend. 

In August, Eamonn shared a heartfelt post of support for Gloria after the death of her husband Stephen Way with the presenter saying it would leave a 'huge void' in her life.

Taking to Instagram, Eamonn shared a photo of the couple and wrote: 'I feel the pain of Gloria my dear friend of 40 plus years on the loss of Stephen - a true gent and a scholar. My genuine heartfelt condolences.' 

Throughout his professional and personal turmoil, Phillip has remained friends with his former ITV pal Declan Donnelly. 

In May, the pair were spotted catching up over a four-hour dinner in London where they were joined by Dec's wife Ali Astall.

The source explained that Phillip is being supported by his friends at ITV including Alison Hammond and Ant and Dec. 

They said: 'They have all been rallying around him and their support, especially from Dec who is such a good friend, has really helped Phil. Some TV executives have been in touch with Phil about a possible return and his friends have told him he should consider it.

'Phil is still shell shocked by everything that happened last year and is happy at the moment to focus on rebuilding his life with the support of his friends and family.

'Whether he will make a comeback — whether it's on TV or radio — is still undecided but the offers are there if he wants to pursue them. His friends have told him they will support him all the way.'

Phillip and Dec's dinner was the first time the pair have been seen publicly together since the This Morning scandal. 

Onlookers reported they looked in good spirits and were seen laughing and joking together like it was an ordinary night out. 

Phillip has received steadfast support from his daughter Molly who has backed her father all the way since he left ITV.

Molly appeared alongside her sister Ruby and mother Stephanie on Phillip Schofield: Cast Away, the presenter's first TV gig since he lost his job on This Morning over an affair with a young producer last year. 

Phillip and his wife Stephanie, 59, have been together for approaching 40 years – around 31 years as a married couple – and both are determined to remain married, despite him coming out as gay.  

'After so long together, Steph and Phil co-dependent. They would rather be a united front and stay together', an insider tells MailOnline, adding that if they broke up it would 'create even more drama' for them and their daughters.

Another friend of a friend said: 'They still love each other. It's that simple'.

Meanwhile, the insider added that his daughters are instrumental in encouraging their father to revamp his career - which is all the more pressing since he comes as a pacakge with his daughter Molly.

She worked for her father at the YMU agency, which represented him for more than 30 years and then dropped him on the day he admitted he'd had an affair with a much younger colleague and lied about it.

She quit 10 months later in March this year and now she is now running her own firm called MMS Projects, with her father its top client.

During her time at YMU, she worked with clients such as Christine Lampard and Stacey Solomon, but now her career is totally tied up with her father's and her success depends hugely on his public rehabilitation.

MailOnline's source said: 'He's been a really good dad to them – and they have profited off him as a parent. Molly worked at YMU, which was a massive part of their success so she will have been paid well and also paid off when he left, and she left.

'I think that they could help him and his career.

'Phil's not finished in telly – and his girls are right behind him all the way.'

Alison Hammond has publicly shown her support for Phillip since he departed ITV.

In August, the former TV host shared a beaming selfie from his 'happy place' as he attempts to finally move on from his This Morning scandal. 

Alison was among those who 'liked' the post which came after she liked another post the month before when Phillip shared a photo of his dog.   

Back in March 2024, Alison broke her silence regarding Phillip's affair scandal but was reluctant to say much. 

While presenting This Morning, she said: 'As for said 'issues'... Listen. I don't want to get into salacious gossip. 

'All I need to say is I personally wish Phillip Schofield all the best. I loved Phillip Schofield. Full stop. But that's the last thing I would want to speak about.'
