Katie Price has pledged to shed the pounds after gaining weight during her paradise Thailand holiday.

The star, 44, went on the trip with her on-off fiancé Carl Woods, but is now describing herself as single after he flew home alone.

Taking to her Instagram story on Saturday, Katie posted a photograph of herself in a red bikini and revealed that her family have remarked on her fuller figure. 

She has piled on the pounds after pausing her normal exercise regime.  

Katie wrote: 'I can't believe how much weight I've put on this trip, when I get back home I'm going to get back in shape.

'Even my family said Kate you must be happy as you've put on weight! 'Cheeky b******s.'

The post comes after she hit back at trolls who criticised her for having surgery and said more people would go under the knife if they could afford it.

The reality star told the haters that she has a thick skin but when they bring up her children that is what touches a nerve.

Speaking to new! magazine, Katie said: 'I say to the haters, I am a woman and I am capable of making my own choices.

'I'm one of not many who admits what surgery they've had. It only upsets me when they talk about my children.'

Katie is mother to eldest son Harvey, 20, who she had with Dwight Yorke, as well as Junior, 17, and Princess, 15, who she shares with ex-husband Peter Andre.

She is mum to Jett, nine, and Bunny, eight, from her relationship with Kieran Hayler.

Despite not having anymore surgery planned anytime soon, Katie did not rule out having anything done as she added, 'never say never'.

Katie was recently pictured being wheeled into surgery at the Be Clinic in Belgium.

She is said to have wanted even bigger breasts after last year's enlargement, opting for 2120 CC implants in a bid to boost her already large bust size.

The model appeared in jovial spirits during her trip, which comes amid claims she's split from her on-off beau Carl Woods once again.
