Job done for Edwards. No Trump wrapping the belt around Colby's waist or homecoming for the title, no Make America Great Again and no victory for the use of vile jokes in the lead up. Any neutrals will be delighted for Edwards and, in truth, he never had to get out of third gear.

The American does his usual spiel about the troops and Trump and they says he had ring rust and doesn't have a scratch on him. Then he yells: 'You're all a bunch of broke b****** anyway'.

Edwards says he was crying backstage with rage on Thursday after Colby's comment about his late father.

Covington takes Edwards down again and briefly has his back but is then reversed and kneed in the body. Tough round to call but if the American has taken any of them, it was this one. He was busier and landed some more shots of his own but also looks slower and less powerful. He needs a big last five minutes.

A close round this one. Hard to score and there's a huge crowd reaction to Covington taking Edwards down. But then Edwards gets straight up and does the same before landing some more kicks to the lead leg, which looks to be pretty badly bruised.

The crowd are not at all happy with this so far. Not a lot of action with neither man wanting to make a fatal mistake. Another close round but Edwards is the man pressing forward and landing some stabbing kicks to the body, I'd give that one to him again.
