They shot to fame on the fifth series of Love Island in 2019.

And Francesca Allen and Maria Wild were still turning heads on Monday as they stepped out to run errands amid the coronavirus lockdown.

Francesca, 24, took no chances as she covered up in an all-white outfit and plastic surgical gloves, while Maria, 23, flashed her pins in a pretty peach summer dress. 

Putting on a cheerful display, Francesca flashed a broad smile as she made her way to the Post Office to send out online orders from her fashion boutique Bonnie and Clyde.

And amid the deadly virus, the beauty was sure to protect herself as she donned plastic gloves while lugging a bag full of parcels down the street.

Showcasing her unique sense of style, Francesca sported an off-white plain hoodie and matching jogging bottoms, of which she paired with a billowing white long-line cardigan.

The clothing store owner added chunky white trainers and dark sunglasses to her look.

While she opted for minimal make-up for the outing, with her raven tresses swept up into a loose up do'. 

Francesca didn't let the current pandemic stop her from smiling as she cheerfully chatted on her mobile phone as she walked.

Meanwhile, Maria was clearly embracing the fine weather as she donned a floaty peach summer dress as she picked up groceries from her local Sainsbury's.  

The beauty looked fabulous as she displayed plenty of décolletage in the low-cut number which featured puff sleeves and a very short hemline.

Maria teamed her dress with black sandals and quirky sunglasses as she strutted down the street. 

The TV personality added a sleek palette of make-up to her look, while her brunette locks tumbled over her shoulders in bouncy curls.

And Maria was sure to preserve her modesty as she carefully climbed into her car after loading up her shopping.

The ladies outings comes shortly after it was revealed that this summer's series of Love Island has been cancelled amid the COVID-19 pandemic. 

ITV bosses pulled the plug on the summer series of the reality show, revealing it was a logistical impossibility to safeguard 'the wellbeing of everyone involved' amid the ongoing global pandemic.

Kevin Lygo, Director of Television at ITV, said: 'We have tried every which way to make Love Island this summer but logistically it's just not possible to produce it in a way that safeguards the wellbeing of everyone involved and that for us is the priority. 

'In normal circumstances we would be preparing very soon to travel out to the location in Mallorca to get the villa ready but clearly that’s now out of the question.

'We are very sorry for fans of the show but making it safely is our prime concern and Love Island will be back stronger than ever in 2021. In the meantime Love Island fans can still enjoy all six series of Love Island on BritBox.'

Host Laura Whitmore weighed in on the cancellation, saying it was the right decision.

She tweeted: 'Like with a lot of things because of restrictions with travel, social distancing and unable to plan ahead, Love Island is postponed until 2021.

'Great news is that there have been more applications then any other series! Next year is going to be BIG. Stay safe.'
