LUGANSK, August 12. /TASS/. Ukraine’s military has "hit a brick wall" against the defensive line of the Russian army on the Zaporozhye direction, military expert Andrey Marochko told TASS.

"Now it can already be said that on the Zaporozhye direction, Ukrainian militants have hit a brick wall against our defensive line. The report from the Russian Defense Ministry on the liberation of Novoye Pole allows us to view this direction positively, because here our servicemen, amid the active phase of hostilities, manage not only to hold back the enemy but also to advance," he said.

On August 11, the Russian Defense Ministry reported the liberation of Novoye Pole in Zaporozhye.
