Alexa Chung and her fiancé Tom Sturridge were spotted out and about on a walk in north London this week cutting typically stylish figures.

The British model, 40, kept it casual but cool in an oversized black leather jacket with pretty floral embroidery, which she teamed with a jumper and jeans.

Alexa was wearing a pair of loafers and carried her essentials in a black quilted bag with a gold chain strap, while otherwise keeping her accessories minimal.

The TV presenter, who was spotted walking hand-in-hand with Tom, opted for light make-up and wore her cropped brunette hair loose.

 Actor Tom, 38, was wearing a checked jacket and polo shirt layered over a white T-shirt, teamed with a pair of corduroy trousers and loafers.

The outing comes following reports that Alexa got engaged to Tom this year.

The star first sparked engagement rumours with the actor last year with the couple seen wearing matching rings in October. 

In April it was claimed the couple are said to be 'over the moon' and are planning a 'classy' wedding ceremony in summer.

A source told The Sun: 'Alexa has confirmed to her friends that she is indeed engaged to Tom and she is over the moon.'

'She is in a great place and seems completely head over heels for him. They're a great match.'

'They have been hard at work planning a wedding with all of their close pals there.'

'It won't be a massive over-the-top affair but a smaller, classier and cooler bash.'

In February, Alexa stepped out wearing bridal white and flashing a ring on her wedding finger as she attended Paris Fashion Week.

The son of award-winning film director Charles Sturridge, Tom seems open to marriage, while Alexa for her part, previously mused: 'I just don't get why marriage is different from non-marriage — I just don't get it.'

Her spokesperson declined to comment when asked about the rumours.

Tom and Alexa went public with their romance last July when they attended day seven of the Wimbledon Championships.

They attended the event with Tom's ex Sienna Miller, who he shares daughter Marlowe, 12, with.

Sienna recently welcomed a baby girl with her boyfriend Oli Green.
