Beyoncé's fans were over the moon on Wednesday night when she revealed that she had had a special reunion with two of her closest friends.

The 43-year-old music superstar shared photos to Instagram of herself jubilantly catching up with her Destiny's Child bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams.

The occasion was Kelly's 44th birthday, which she commemorated in her own Instagram post earlier in the day, though she didn't hint at the group get-together that awaited her.

'Birthday bestie 🎂,' Beyoncé sweetly captioned her post.

The Album of the Year Grammy Winner looked as stunning as ever in a black mini dress that accented her curves and emphasized her hourglass figure.

The otherwise reserved dress was decorated with rows of large gold buttons all across her chest and midriff, and it featured long sleeves and a modest high neckline.

The dress only reached down just past the top of her thighs, and she complemented it with large gold earrings.

She wore her feathered dirty-blond hair in thick waves cascading down her shoulders that put the spotlight on her impeccably made-up face and scarlet lips.

The birthday girl rocked a more revealing look to showcase her svelte, seemingly ageless figure.

Kelly was dressed in a black backless halter dress that highlighted her toned arms.

It had a thick band around her slim waist, and she wore a chic blunt bob for her birthday party.

Michelle gave her fellow singers a run for their money with a sizzling red sequined mini dress with spaghetti straps.

It was ruched around her hips, and featured a low-cut neckline emphasizing her cleavage.

The pop star–turned–gospel icon wore her raven hair tied back in a long braided ponytail, and she wore shimmering diamond earrings.

The three women all posed together for several sweet snaps, and Beyoncé burst into a radiant smile in one photo as and Kelly reunited with a hug.

Her post also included a lovely black-and-white snap of her and Kelly seated at a long dining table with the other party guests for the birthday meal.

Kelly's birthday was on Tuesday, and she celebrated the day by setting temperatures soaring with her incredible physique.

The Destiny's Child alumna stripped down for a risqué party-themed shoot that she posted to Instagram.

'Well here we are, 44,' she captioned her post.

For the shoot, Rowland wowed in a blue metallic thong and bra set meant to look like gift wrap.

The skimpy two-piece teased her ample bust while a pair of matching stilettos added inches to her 5ft8in frame.

What stole the show was her striking headpiece, which contained over 20 similar-toned balloons, driving home the celebration.

She also posed with two balloons in her hands that displayed her age when held together. 

Rowland revealed that she was inspired by an old party-themed shoot that supermodel Naomi Campbell previously did.

She shared the inspiration photo to her Instagram Story for comparison.

Rowland also used her Instagram Story to reshare birthday wishes from her pals, including her former Destiny's Child bandmate Michelle.

The official Destiny's Child Instagram page also paid tribute to Rowland by posting a stunning snap of the birthday beauty along with a sweet message.

'It's your birthday you don't have to do nothin,' the caption read, with a kiss emoji.

Rowland's 44th birthday fell on the same day that Williams sparked hope of a possible Destiny's Child reunion after revealing that she, Beyoncé and Kelly are still in active group chat together.

The band signed to Columbia Records in 1997, and underwent various lineup changes in the early 2000s.

They managed to sell over 100 million records before officially disbanding in 2006.

The trio have reunited on stage a few times since the breakup, including at Beyoncé's 2018 Coachella performance.

During their active years, Destiny's Child released five studio albums and earned four US Billboard Hot 100 number-ones with the tracks Say My Name, Independent Women Part I, Bootylicious and Bills, Bills, Bills.

On November 15, 2004, the group released their final album Destiny Fulfilled.

Through the years, the group faced internal conflict and legal turmoil.

In November, Beyoncé and Kelly hit Broadway to watch Michelle preform in the Broadway play, Death Becomes Her.

After the brief reunion, Michelle opened up to PEOPLE about how 'anchored' she felt having her former bandmates in the crowd.

'It was an absolute joy having them there because I know they're fans of the movie,' she said.

'I was really a joy to have them come to see something that I'm equally excited about as well.'

The star added, 'Having them there, I felt anchored. We obviously have not been touring together for years, but it took me back to the time when I'd been with them on stage.

'Even though they weren't on stage with me, I felt so grounded. It's giving me some fuel for the rest of my run in the show.'
