An axe-throwing bar has closed all of its locations, including one in Las Vegas.

Dueling Axes, a chain of axe-throwing bars, has closed all of its locations nationally, including one inside Area15. All five of the chain’s locations closed on July 31.

“Due to unfortunate circumstances beyond our control, Dueling Axes Las Vegas is permanently closed,” said a statement on the Dueling Axes Las Vegas website. “Thank you, Las Vegas. We appreciate your support more than you know.”

The Columbus, Ohio-based axe-throwing bar and lounge opened its first location in 2018, according to its website. Its Las Vegas location opened in 2020 as one of the first tenants at Area15.

Its space inside Area15 was 6,300 square feet and offered 18 throwing lanes accommodating up to six guests each, four lanes for VIP use and a private party room. It also included a wine and beer bar.
