hello all i have a bit of a problem if i clear all data on my phone all my messages will not come back I have backup on but I have to uninstall updates the install the recent update to get them back anyway to fix this so I don't have to keep uninstalling and reinstalling the recent update

I have backups but for some reason it should load the app and then restore my messages on the new version but for some reason they don't show up they do show up on the old version which I am using now

i think it's a bug i did send feedback using help and feedback on the new version but haven't got anything back yet also dona review of the problem on google play store but haven't got anything back yet

this is the problem I am having if i clear all data on my phone all my messages will not come back I have backup on it just says once you've started a new conversation you'll see it listed here but on one of my contacts it shows that I have sent a message but it won't show on the app itself

it does it on my old redmi note 9s phone as well so must be a bug

The whole thread is useless if you didn't mention how you fixed it and what was causing this error.
