Sony has officially confirmed the PlayStation Plus Monthly Games lineup for August 2026, and it’s a varied trio built for different moods. 

Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Reloaded Edition headlines the drop as a zombie-parkour action RPG, Big Walk brings a day-one co-op experience from the creators of Untitled Goose Game, and Signalis rounds things out with acclaimed retro-styled survival horror. 

All three go live for every member on Tuesday, August 4, and remain claimable through Monday, August 31, 2026, giving subscribers a full month to add them for free.

Once claimed, all three games stay in your library as long as your PS Plus subscription remains active. Which of these three games should you play first?

Available on both PS5 and PS4, this is the biggest name in the lineup. It’s an open-world zombie survival action RPG where you play Aiden Caldwell, navigating rival factions and virus-infected monsters across a sprawling, parkour-friendly city. 

The Reloaded Edition bundles in the Bloody Ties story DLC and supports four-player co-op, letting friends host or join sessions and see how choices diverge. It’s easily the meatiest single-player-plus-co-op package of the month.

Big Walk, exclusive to PS5, launches day-one on PS Plus straight from House House, the studio behind Untitled Goose Game.

Instead of combat, it leans entirely on cooperative communication: exploring an open world, solving puzzles together, and finding creative ways to talk when you suddenly lose the ability to speak normally.

It’s built for hanging out as much as progressing, making it one of the more laid-back co-op picks PS Plus has offered recently.

Signalis, available on PS4, is the horror pick of the month. Playing as Elster, a technician Replika searching for her lost partner, you explore a surreal, dystopian sci-fi world packed with unsettling puzzles and nightmarish creatures. 

Critically acclaimed since release, it delivers a slow-burn, cosmic-dread flavor of psychological survival horror that stands apart from the other two co-op titles this month.

Starting August 6, 2026, all PlayStation Plus members can grab a free MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls PlayStation Plus Pack from the PS Store.

It includes five PSN avatars, with Captain America, Spider-Man, Doctor Doom, Storm, and Ghost Rider, plus 20 result-screen character poses usable in the PS5 version of the game once both the game and pack are downloaded.  This bonus pack remains available until August 6, 2027.

Before August 4 hits, make sure you’ve claimed July 2026’s outgoing PS Plus games, since they’ll disappear from the monthly rotation once the new lineup goes live. A quick check of your library now saves you from losing access later.

August’s PS Plus lineup mixes a AAA co-op zombie epic, a heartfelt communication-driven adventure, and a haunting indie horror gem, which is a genuinely well-rounded month for every kind of player.
