Proper question is what exactly is their job these days? Tollway, Sec of State, Forest Preserve. On and on and on.
I remember when our state representative told me he voted for Quinn’s big income tax increase because he wasn’t going to run for reelection anyway since he knew the voters would crucify him. Lot of lame ducks voted for that tax increase, or got payoff state jobs.
If we didn’t just have Democrats this would be repealed, no tax or toll should be made automatic increased.
in other news, the entire world will be paying dearly for decades for the trump administrations unhinged & often unlawful actions.

Trying to finish a nearly 50 year war while US Industry is thriving, dollar has never been stronger, the stock market it at record highs and even at war a barrel of oil is at $80. People with short memories and other TDS people don’t remember a barrel of oil was at $127 under Obama and gas over $5.
