‘Jurassic World’ Sequel Loses Director As Gareth Edwards Exits Over Creative Differences

Universal’s next “Jurassic World” movie is moving ahead, but it will do so without Gareth Edwards behind the camera.
According to Deadline, Edwards will not return to direct the next installment in the blockbuster franchise, with sources citing creative differences behind the decision. Instead, the filmmaker is expected to focus on original projects currently in development while Universal and Amblin Entertainment begin searching for a new director.
