The spectacular run of “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” continues. The Destin Daniel Cretton-directed blockbuster easily won its second weekend with a staggering $145 million. That brings its current domestic total to $653 million in the U.S., passing “Titanic’s” $600 million tally from almost 30 years ago and setting the record for the highest 10-day domestic gross in box office history. Globally, “Brand New Day” has already earned a massive $1.67 billion with little competition for weeks to come.
