The forum is powered by an off-the-shelf product called Xenforo, which we don't develop ourselves. It sounds like disabling JavaScript entirely just flat out breaks some functionality of the software, which is honestly not a big surprise. I don't believe we have much wiggle room to offer you a version of the forum that works entirely without JS enabled, though, unfortunately?

From our side no updates have been pushed in the past two months (which isn't good either tbh, and will change this Thursday). Please check on Friday if the behavior has changed again.
