Anti-Discrimination Centre ‘Memorial’ continues its podcast series on the rights of Indigenous Peoples. The fourth episode of the podcast is dedicated to the right of peoples to preserve and learn their native languages.

The guests of the episode, Tyan Zaochnaya and Lana Pylaeva, share their personal experiences of advocating for their native languages — Itelmen and Komi.  The podcast discusses the linguistic diversity of the peoples of Eurasia, the right of every people to education in their own language, existing mechanisms for the protection of this right, the equal value of all languages and cultures, and the challenges faced by minority and Indigenous languages today.
