New Movies Streaming‘The Dink’ (2026)

Jake Johnson is amusing as an aging tennis pro trying to stop the incursion of pickleball at his dad’s (Ed Harris) country club. When his doctor (Ben Stiller) forces him to pick up a paddle himself to rehab a tennis injury, he begins to see the error of his ways thanks in part to his doubles partner (Mary Steenburgen).

How to watch: “The Dink” is streaming on Apple TV.

‘Nirvanna the Band the Show the Movie’ (2026)

Before directing “Blackberry” and the upcoming (excellent) Anthony Bourdain biopic “Tony,” Matt Johnson and comedy partner Jay McCarrol had a web series and TV show about two musicians trying (and failing) to book the same venue in Toronto. The goal remains the same in the movie, but the stakes (and the amount of time travel) are higher.

How to watch: “Nirvanna the Band the Show the Movie” is streaming on Hulu.

‘The Talented Mr. Ripley’ (1999)

“Good Will Hunting” is unquestionably the movie that made Matt Damon’s career. But after successfully playing a brilliant hothead from Boston, he needed to show Hollywood he had range. With the role of sociopathic con man Tom Ripley, who worms his way into the inner circle of spoiled playboy Dickie Greenleaf (Jude Law) and his girlfriend (Gwyneth Paltrow), Damon proved he was here to stay.

How to watch: “The Talented Mr. Ripley is streaming on Paramount+

New TV Shows Streaming‘King of the Hill’ Season 15

The revival of Mike Judge’s long-running animated series continues to exceed expectations, with Hank, Peggy, Bobby and co. tackling issues old (menopause) and new (electric trucks, AI scams) with heart and humor. We even get Bobby channeling his old man and saying his first bwah!

How to watch: “King of the Hill” Season 15 is streaming on Hulu.

‘Stuart Fails to Save the Universe’ Season 1

“The Big Bang Theory” has already yielded two spin-offs: the single-camera prequel “Young Sheldon” and the multi-cam sitcom “Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage.” This time, the spinoff features actual actors from “The Big Bang Theory,” but the premise takes a hard turn towards the sci-fi. Stuart (Kevin Sussman) wakes up to find out that Sheldon and Leonard have somehow created a multiverse. Hopping to a new universe each episode, a la “Rick and Morty,” Stuart and his fellow “Big Bang” alums Denise (Lauren Lapkus), Bert (Brian Posehn), and Barry (John Ross Bowie) have to fix things before all of the multiverses cease to exist.

How to watch: “‘Stuart Fails to Save the Universe” Season 1 is streaming on HBO Max.
