Due to AI, I am not confident that training will continue to be able to fund open source development. On GitHub, I have started a sponsors page. If you would like to sponsor a specific OSVVM activity, let me know. It could be develop a new verification component, develop a new feature, solve a specific problem, or make OSVVM work better with another VHDL methodology. If you know of an organization who sponsors work like OSVVM, please reach out to me. I am also looking for remote contract work supporting a project that uses OSVVM or plans to use OSVVM. This can be part time, short term, or long term project support. Some ideas for short term work can be scheduled project help sessions, solve a specific problem, create a specific verification component, switch to OSVVM from another verification methodology, or make OSVVM work better with another verification methodology. My contributions to OSVVM are substantial. Sometime back, my friend Patrick Lehmann showed me https://openhub.net. Openhub estimates the cost of code contributions to an open source project. Currently the development cost of OSVVM is estimated to be around $2M dollars. Except for the Co-simulation development (which is significant – thanks Simon Southwell), most of the work has been done by me. If you are using OSVVM, please give OsvvmLibraries a star on GitHub.
