We still use a set of DECT phones, that work well, so we're reluctant to bin them. However, the house phone wiring has developed an intermittent fault, and try as I might I've not been able to trace it. There are four phone sockets and the wiring for them is embedded in the walls (it was put in when the house was built). I'd rather not have to replace it, as it'd be disruptive and make a heck of a mess.

My wife wants the DECT master/base station to stay where it is. It's close to a phone and power socket but not close to one of the RJ45 Ethernet sockets, unfortunately. For some reason the phone noise problem is much worse now we have FTTP. In fact I don't think it existed before the change. With the phone plugged in to the ONT (via the supplied adapter) it's fine, so it's the house wiring that's the problem.

I have the RJ11 phone port on the ONT connected to the internal phone cabling where the old Openreach master socket used to be (the old Openreach cabling into the house has been pulled out and the unused phone line now terminates at their BT66 box outside).

The obvious option would be to bin our DECT phones and replace them with WiFi VOIP ones, but we find the nuisance call blocking feature of the DECT phones really useful, plus it seems a shame to throw out three perfectly good phones. I have a Grandstream ATA to run a second VOIP line in my study, so I don't block incoming calls on the main number, and that works well, but only because I have loads of spare Ethernet ports there.

Ideally what I want is a WiFi version of the Grandstream ATA, a small box that I can fit near the DECT base station, that will connect to our WiFi and provide VOIP functionality (only one SIP profile needed).

My internet search fu must be weak, as all the ATA's I can find need a wired network connection. I could bodge things and use a WiFi bridge, plus a wired ATA, but that's a messy solution that will use three power outlets in total (1 for the WiFi bridge, 1 for the ATA and 1 for the DECT base station). I'd prefer a single small box, if such a thing exists.
