Pretty inspiring story! Puts our minor gripes about getting reliable, fast, connectivity into perspective. Good point in that article about latency, too. Given my recent problems trying to get VOIP to work over WiFi I suspect latency and general time variance issues aren't given the prominence they deserve. The focus seems often to be on just speed.

To be fair we have our own home grown comparators like B4RN (and other community FTTP associations like it) but I thought the Canadian story was a bit special and how they overcame many challenges and ultimately built the dream.

Great article. That would have been a very rewarding job to have been involved with.
I was in Moosonee and Moose Factory many years ago. It is literally "a different world". I would recommend anyone who might be interested to visit. But take your winter woolies

This is a story of the positive side of the internet. Except for "they meet face-to-face less frequently".
