MOSCOW, August 9. /TASS/. If its seaports fail to resume operations, Ukraine will be able to transport less than a half of its intended agricultural exports by land or via Romanian ports, according to TASS calculations based on data of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.

The country may lose around $11.5 billion as a result.

The country’s agricultural exports are extimated at 64.4 million tonnes. However, if Greater Odessa ports remain idle, Ukraine will be able to ship only 29.6 million tons. The problem will be made worse by the lack of necessary storage facilities for unsold products, as Ukraine is expected to run out of storage space in October.
