Flight Test Safety Fact Newsletter 08-26

New! Flight Test Safety Fact Newsletter
Fireworks are the opening act in this edition of the Flight Test Safety Fact. Literal fireworks appear in photos and serve as the symbolism that ushers in the rest of the newsletter which includes other attractions.
There are also algorithmically generated fireworks, and, to be honest, those ones made me cry. Ugly sobs of humble joy. It’s not often we use those kinds of words to engage each other in a newsletter about Flight Test Safety, but maybe we should.
I had a wonderful time writing this edition of the newsletter, the kind of time you would experience walking around a state fair. And by the end, I was hot and tired and wanted to leave. Figuratively speaking. But that’s part of the experience, right? I hope you enjoy it as much as me, and I hope you tell us, by sending a letter, a post, a dm, an email, or a comment, any of the myriad ways to communicate. That email is mark@flighttestfact.com. Or you can email anyone on the BoD for FTSC or SFTE or SETP.
There is so much good stuff in this edition—it’s the stuff that we share in common—and there is so much opportunity for discussion, the kind that drives us forward. I hope you will take a break, before school starts for your kids, and just enjoy this. I hope it provokes you to good works.
Sincerely,
