Many investors lose track of dividends over the years because they change their address or bank account, forget about old investments, or hold physical share certificates that were never updated.

If your SBI dividends have remained unclaimed for seven years, they may have been transferred to the Investor Education and Protection Fund (IEPF). Here's how you can check whether you have any unpaid or unclaimed SBI dividends and the steps to claim them.

If the dividend remains unclaimed for seven years after being transferred to a company's unpaid dividend account, the company must transfer the amount, along with any accrued interest, to the Investor Education and Protection Fund (IEPF).

SBI has provided two official channels for submitting claims:

If you are unable to find any data with one input combination, then please try to input another combination. For example, if you are not finding any data by entering Folio No. and PAN then try with Folio No. and investor first name.

The IEPFA Authority is entrusted with the responsibility of administration of the Investor Education Protection Fund (IEPF), making refunds of shares, unclaimed dividends, matured deposits/debentures, etc. This website can be used to check a refund in respect of unclaimed dividends, matured deposits, matured debentures, the application money due for refund and interest thereon.

Shareholders, deposit holders or their legal heirs who have unclaimed dividends, deposits, debentures or shares for a continuous period of 7 years remain eligible to claim a refund by applying to the IEPF Authority by filing the webform IEPF-5 along with the necessary documents.
