VERACIO and Bureau Veritas have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) establishing a strategic commercial collaboration focused on expanding access to advanced geological scanning technologies across Latin America.

Veracio and Bureau Veritas expand Latin American partnership

The agreement covers Chile, Peru, Argentina, and Brazil, with the potential to expand into additional Latin American markets in the future. Through the agreement, the organisations will work together to promote and deliver VERACIO’s geological scanning technologies to mining and exploration customers throughout the region.

Bureau Veritas maintains an extensive operational presence throughout Latin America, providing geological, laboratory, and technical services that support exploration, resource evaluation, and mining operations across the region.

The agreement builds on several years of successful collaboration, during which Bureau Veritas gained first-hand experience working with VERACIO’s scanning technologies across customer projects in the region.

It combines VERACIO’s geological scanning technologies and technical expertise with Bureau Veritas’ operational capabilities, regional presence, and customer relationships. The organisations will also explore opportunities to support broader mining industry initiatives focused on automation, digitalisation, and the application of AI to geological data and mining processes.

“This agreement reflects the success of our relationship with Bureau Veritas and creates a strong foundation for future growth across Latin America”, said Annelie Lundström, CEO of VERACIO.

“Latin America is one of the world’s most important mining regions, and we see significant opportunities to expand the use of VERACIO’s scanning technologies across exploration and mining operations.”

“Bureau Veritas brings strong customer relationships, operational experience and regional reach, making them an ideal partner to support that growth.”

Jameson Linares, Metals & Minerals Latin America Director at Bureau Veritas, said mining companies are increasingly looking for high-quality geological data to support exploration and resource evaluation activities.

“VERACIO’s scanning technologies provide an additional source of quantitative geological information that complements traditional geological services.”

“This agreement allows us to make those capabilities available to a broader range of mining customers across Latin America.”
