As part of its on-going push into artificial intelligence, Google is investing around $75m in movie studio A24. The teaming up means that the movie studio will have access to Google’s DeepMind AI, and there are already AI-based projects underway. Interestingly, the terms of the deal are such that A24 is not limited to using only Google’s tools – the studio is free to turn to other company’s AI powers as well.
