Xiaomi has introduced the Xiaomi Watch S5 46mm for global markets alongside the Xiaomi 17T and Xiaomi 17T Pro smartphones. Positioned as a premium smartwatch for business users, fitness enthusiasts, and everyday consumers, the Xiaomi Watch S5 combines premium materials, advanced health tracking, built-in GNSS positioning, and long battery life in a refined stainless-steel design.

The smartwatch features a 46 mm case with a stainless steel middle frame and interchangeable stainless steel, ceramic, and forged carbon bezels. Xiaomi is offering the watch in four variants – Ceramic Blue, Jungle Green, Black, and Silver – with multiple strap options including fluororubber, nylon woven, and genuine leather finishes.

On the front, the Xiaomi Watch S5 sports a 1.48-inch AMOLED display with a 480 x 480 pixel resolution and 323 PPI pixel density. Xiaomi says the panel features 40% narrower bezels compared to its predecessor while delivering up to 2,500 nits peak brightness and 1,500 nits HBM brightness for improved outdoor visibility.

The smartwatch runs Xiaomi HyperOS 3 and supports seamless integration with Xiaomi smartphones and smart home devices. Features include remote camera control, Find My Phone, earphone controls, health and fitness data synchronization, and Xiaomi Home smart home controls.

For fitness tracking, the Xiaomi Watch S5 supports more than 150 sports modes alongside dual-band GNSS with support for GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, BeiDou, and QZSS positioning systems. Xiaomi has also introduced Passion Mode, which can detect cheering gestures and activity movements during sporting events.

Health monitoring capabilities include continuous heart rate tracking, blood oxygen monitoring, sleep tracking, HRV analysis, stress monitoring, calorie tracking, and upgraded monitoring algorithms paired with a new 4 LED + 4 PD sensor system. Xiaomi claims up to 98.4% heart-rate monitoring accuracy. Sleep insights have been developed in collaboration with the World Sleep Society, Asian Society of Sleep Medicine, and Chinese Sleep Research Society.

Powering the smartwatch is an 815 mAh battery that delivers up to 21 days of battery life under light usage conditions. The watch also supports 5 ATM water resistance and magnetic charging.
