Ted Lasso is just days away from hitting Apple TV+, and fans can watch the return to AFC Richmond for free.

Ted Lasso fans, it's time to Believe once again. After more than three years away from screens, AFC Richmond, its endearing coaches (Lasso and Coach Beard) and a whole host of memorable and wonderful characters are finally returning to Apple TV+ this week.

Ted Lasso Season 4 has been widely anticipated for years, and it's due to begin again on Wednesday, August 5, 2026. And thank goodness; for a while, it had been confirmed that season three, which ended in 2023, was the absolute finale of the series, but just last year, it was confirmed the show would return.

As a result, this year's return to Richmond is altogether enticing, surprising and extremely exciting. However, there have been plenty of changes along the way.

While Ted, Beard, Rebecca, Roy Kent and Keeley are all returning, the rest of the football team and side-characters are not. Instead, Ted Lasso Season 4 will focus on the AFC Richmond Women's team.

And for the fans who simply must see the next season of Ted Lasso, but have let their subscription for Apple's TV service lapse, there is one major deal on offer right now. Apple TV+ have confirmed a free trial is now on offer.

This incredible seven-day free trial will allow fans to catch up on the entirety of Ted Lasso's journey thus far (seasons one to three) before watching the first one or two episodes of season four. After that, the regular subscription price of £9.99 per month will kick in.

Considering Ted Lasso is expected to run for ten episodes, that's a full ten per cent saving on the full series. What's more, it is not yet known how long this deal will be available, so fans are encouraged to act quickly. You can sign up using this link.

There are, of course, plenty of other TV streaming services available around the UK. One of the most prominent and popular is NOW (formerly NOW TV ).

And, at the time of writing, NOW also has its own massive summer deal. Instead of paying £13.99 per month, newcomers to the streamer can grab six months of TV for just £3.99 per month (minimum of six months). And here, you can watch all kinds of blockbuster hits such as Sinners, They Will Kill You, House of the Dragon and plenty more.

Otherwise, there's Amazon. A Prime membership also gives TV-lovers access to the enormous plethora of shows, including Fallout, The Boys, Invincible, Reacher, Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, and plenty more. This, of course, comes with access to Amazon Prime delivery priority, as well as access to Amazon Music.

With that said, these TV services do not offer access to Ted Lasso. And, considering there are so many unanswered questions in the show (like who is Keeley actually going to end up with? Does Ted love Rebecca? Is Beard really married?) this is your last chance to catch up on the show ahead of its release this week.

However, it is worth noting some users reported slow functions at times: "Apple TV has a few good shows such as Slow Horses and Severance but the weekly drop and inadequate User Interface are off-putting. I'm currently on Silo Episode 3 and, after an absence, wish to start again at Ep 1 but there's no way to do this."
