On June 12, the JoJo Siwa Cruise pushed off from Port Canaveral, Florida, for a three-night Caribbean voyage billed as the "ultimate fan experience."
Tickets reportedly ranged from $1,300 to $2,300 and included "JoJo-themed" activities, including a meet-and-greet, a dance party, trivia, a live performance, and a bow-making workshop as a nod to JoJo's signature accessory.
Fans could also purchase a number of add-on experiences, including a $150 dinner with JoJo, a $525 lip-sync battle, and a $1,250 VIP pizza-and-movie experience in JoJo's private family suite with what organizers described as "a very small group of her biggest fans."
Merch was also available, including a $22 limited-edition bow, a $32 T-shirt, a $52 hoodie, and a $42 tank top.
One of the merch offerings that drew attention was the goodie bag, which left several internet users seriously underwhelmed.
Content creator @benoftheweek sparked the discussion after sharing a look at the bag and claiming "everything in it was AI-generated."
In the video, Ben showed off some of the contents of the bag, including a passport and stickers to mark all the activities guests did:

As you can imagine, people had a LOT to say.
"The AI merch is diabolical," one person commented, receiving over 40,000 likes.
Another said, "i gasped at the ai merch."
While somebody added, "the ai generated gift bag is crazy."
Overall, though, people who actually attended the cruise largely seemed to have a positive experience.
Ben himself joked that it was like Taylor Swift's iconic Eras Tour, calling JoJo "the artist of our generation."
Other guests had glowing things to say, too.
One fan named Maddie Maschue told USA Today, "[JoJo] just made us all feel almost like we weren't fans, like we were friends, kind of.”
Another guest named Teia Johnson called the experience "the best weekend that I've ever done."
