Bungo Stray Dogs: Tales of the Lost mobile game will shut down worldwide on July 31, 2026. The announcement came in essentially a day ahead of the closure. It’s been running since December 2017 in Japan and November 2018 worldwide, and it mainly followed the adventures and characters from the anime and manga series. 

The reason for the short notice and sudden closure of Bungo Stray Dogs: Tales of the Lost is due to the fact that Ambition, the company behind the game, shut down. As a result, the game is immediately gone too. The statement also said the Terms of Service noted there will be no Ability Stones refunds for people who were playing toward the end. It also did note players can email [email protected], but also said people might not get responses “due to the high volume of inquiries anticipated.”

In case you didn’t get a chance to play, here’s a trailer from Crunchyroll that showed how things worked. It was basically a Bust-a-Move/Puzzle Bobble style puzzle game with RPG elements. Based on how you matched bubbles, folks on your team would attack. In addition to the story segments, original events with new storylines featuring the characters appeared in it.

Bungo Stray Dogs: Tales of the Lost is available on Android and iOS mobile devices, and the game will end worldwide on July 31, 2026. Yen Press handles the manga outside Japan, and the anime is streaming on Crunchyroll.
