Dear readers! We are pleased to present you with the sixth issue of the journal for 2026, in which the theory and practice of logistics are explored in a variety of relevant areas. This issue is truly multifaceted, combining reflections on the essence of logistics processes with applied calculations and industry-specific cases. 

The focus is on current trends in passenger and cargo transportation: S.S. Semchenkov and D.V. Kapsky analyze the technical and economic efficiency and operational reliability of electric buses; T.Yu. Titarenko and M.G. Grigoryan address the assessment of aviation mobility of the population, proposing theoretical and analytical approaches that allow for a better understanding of the dynamics of passenger flows and their impact on transport infrastructure. 

We continue the series of articles by E.R. Dobronravin from the "Supply Chain Management" section. In a new article, the author suggests looking at logistics through the lens of value ontology, tracing the evolution from supply chain management to supply chain management. This material is perfectly consistent with D.V. Ushakov's work on multi-level synchronization in intermodal transportation, which is especially important in situations where the coordination of chain links directly affects delivery time and cost. 

In the "Management" section, D.A. Pustokhin examines the features of mergers and acquisitions in the aviation industry. K.M. Dzhuraev focuses on the methods of managing operational risks in international cargo logistics, which can increase the reliability of foreign trade operations and minimize disruptions in supply chains. 

Our author, L.S. Kachanova, traces the evolution of customs services, demonstrating how automation and new technologies are changing the speed and transparency of procedures. 

The issue concludes with materials from the "Problems and Opinions" section, where the authors address pressing industry issues. Of particular note is the article by V.A. Topalidi, L.A. Vildanova, and S.Ya. Allaberganov on the history, functions, and logistics support systems.
