Microsoft has announced a pair of limited-edition Xbox accessories to coincide with the launch of Forza Horizon 6 on May 19th, continuing its recent push to tie first-party releases to themed hardware.

The new devices include a Forza Horizon 6 Limited-Edition Xbox Wireless Controller, priced at £84.99 / $89.99, and a matching wireless headset at £124.99 / $134.99. Both are available to pre-order now from retailers, including Amazon in both the UK and the US.

For those in the U.S., Walmart has also already discounted pre-orders for the special edition gamepad, knocking off $5, and bringing it down to $84.

The controller adopts a notably bright, multi-coloured design built around shades of blue, including a transparent front panel, with contrasting pink, green and yellow accents. A silver D-pad and geometric patterns inspired by racetrack layouts complete the look. On the reverse, textured rubber grips have been added, alongside a Horizon Festival logo in pink.

The wireless headset follows a similar design approach, with a pink "HORIZON" wordmark running across the headband, while the ear cups feature the same blue base and contrasting accents seen on the controller.

Christian Donlan recently previewed the Horizon 6 for Eurogamer, and was remarkably impressed: "I am in love with Forza Horizon 6's Nissan Silvia".

"What is probably clear from all this is that I like cars and the thrilling ways that games can make you feel in their presence, but I don't have any kind of knowledge of them. This is why Horizon is the Forza for me, I guess, because it's a holiday from too much seriousness whilst also being built so carefully that anyone from an idiot to an expert can have real fun here."
