Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky went face to face with fellow Senator Markwayne Mullin at the confirmation hearing for the nominee for Homeland Security Secretary Wednesday. Bad blood existed between them after Mullin previously said he understood why Paul was the recipient of a brutal beating he got from a neighbor in 2017. Paul asked Mullin about the comment on Wednesday. Mullin did not apologize. Mullin said he hoped the two of them could put aside their personal animosity.
