Photos and video made public this week track the steps a 43-year-old gunman took before authorities said he killed the mother of his children and another man inside a Las Vegas grocery store.

In surveillance footage played for a Clark County grand jury, a man who prosecutors say is Alejandro Estrada is seen entering the Smith’s at 9750 S. Maryland Parkway on the morning of May 12. He carried a black backpack and wore black plants, black shoes and black Spider-Man T-shirt.

The man then circles the produce section, before following two people down an aisle that is out of frame. Seconds later, other shoppers begin ducking and running toward the store’s exit. Minutes after he entered, the man walked out of the store at a measured pace.

Footage from the pharmacy drive-thru shows several witnesses tackling and subduing the man identified as Estrada. After police and paramedics arrive, Estrada is loaded onto a gurney.

Estrada was indicted last month on two counts of first-degree murder, along with burglary, gun and home invasion charges, in the killings of Amanda Frias Rosas and her husband Victor Frias Rosas.

Estrada and Amanda Frias Rosas were entangled in a child support dispute, and police have said Estrada was concerned about being jailed over unpaid support.

After the killings, Estrada was interviewed by detectives at University Medical Center. Police said Estrada confessed to the killings.

Footage from several Ring cameras show Estrada leaving his own home and later walking down the street where Amanda and Victor Frias Rosas lived.

According to police, Estrada initially intended to ambush the couple at their home. When he realized they were not there, he ransacked their bedroom. Newly released photos document the damage.
