Kapamilya couple Richard Gutierrez and Barbie Imperial were asked about the rumor that their Blood vs Duty co-star Bela Padilla exited the series because of her alleged “attitude” issue.

Earlier this month, the online community and teleserye fans talked about the end of Bela’s character. Allegations surfaced that the actress was having conflicts with her colleagues.

There were some claims that the actress started being directed and dipped her hands in the technical aspects.

In a recent interview, based on the article in PEP, Richard Gutierrez and Barbie Forteza, who are among the lead stars of the Kapamilya action drama series.

The couple was asked if the reason for Bela Padilla’s exit was that she was allegedly getting herself involved.

Richard laughed at this. “Si Bela? Hindi namin alam kung anong nangyari kay Bela. Respect naman kay Bela. Kasi magaling naman talaga si Bela,” he said.

On the other hand, it was said that Bela had a lot of suggestions that helped the productions. “Marami! Maraming suggestions,” Barbie shared, adding that these suggestions could help improve her character.

In the same interview, Richard also answered the issue of using AI or artificial intelligence in their series.

He said that it is a good thing that discussions are being done when it comes to using AI, as they were one of the first to use this technology.

“And I think it’s a really good discussion. Siyempre we can’t deny the fact that AI is there. And it’s gonna be there forever,” the actor said, adding that it is just a matter of how this technology will be used.

The actor also said, “Yung protected din yung mga artist, protected din yung mga workers.” He added that this is a big help to the production budget-wise.
