Billi Mucklow and Andy Carroll have revealed that their son Arlo has been diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes.
Billi, 34, shared the news as she took to her Instagram page with a heartfelt post, featuring a carousel of pictures of Arlo, giving a detailed update on his condition.
The TOWIE star shares three children with Reading F.C. striker Andy, who is also 34, and welcomed their first son Arlo in 2015.
She accompanied the slew of pictures with an emotional caption: '2 weeks ago we found out that our beautiful boy Arlo has Type 1 Diabetes.
'Wow there is so much to learn, lots of life changes. We’ve had amazing support from our Diabetic Team to help us learn and understand how to care for Arlo.

'Symptoms that Arlo had (4T’s) - thirsty - thinner - tired - toilet (constantly needing to wee mostly through the night).'
She continued: 'We’re lucky we caught it early. He’s just been fitted with G7 CGM (Continuous Glucose Monitor) so far it’s a game changer.
'We couldn’t be prouder and love our little boy more he’s been so brave, happy and took it all in his stride.'
'Me And Daddy will do everything we can to make sure your life is everything and more. Nothing will ever hold you back! We’ve got this,' the star concluded hopeful.

The couple - who tied the knot in an idyllic ceremony last year - enjoyed a late honeymoon getaway just earlier in June.
They jetted to the Maldives last week to enjoy a sun-soaked break with champagne and wine alongside luxury food, while their five kids stayed at home.
The former TOWIE star was documenting the trip in forensic detail, as she shared a slew of snaps from their stay at the Amilla Maldives Resort & Residences, where prices for two can tip £2k-a-night, with her 410k followers.

As well as images of their food and drink, Billi, who starred on TOWIE for six series from 2011, shared sizzling bikini-clad shots as she cosied up to the footballer.
The couple have three children Arlo, seven, Wolf, five, and daughter Marvel Mae, two, along with Carroll’s daughter Emilie Rose, 13, and Lucas, 12, from a previous relationship.
The couple tied the knot at Hampshire's five-star Four Seasons Hotel, where Emilie Rose served as one of Billi’s bridesmaids for the occasion.
The couple had announced their engagement in November 2014, after Andy popped the question during a romantic mini-break in Rome, Italy.
With his towering frame, Andy had already established himself as a talented striker for boyhood club Newcastle United before confirming his relationship with TV personality Billi in 2014.
She found fame on The Only Way Is Essex in 2011, but quit reality TV two years later to run a Bikram yoga studio in Essex.
Billi started dating the Geordie footballer in the summer of 2013 but they kept their relationship under wraps until the following February.
Diabetes is a serious life-long condition that occurs when the amount of sugar in the blood is too high because the body can't use it properly.
Patients have to regular monitor their glucose levels to prevent them from developing any potentially fatal complications.
Type 1 diabetes patients are often recommended to test their blood sugar at least four times a day. For type 2 patients, doctors advise to test twice a day.
Blood glucose levels should be between the ranges of 3.5–5.5mmol/L before meals and less than 8mmol/L, two hours after meals.

Hypoglycemia (when blood sugar drops below 4 mmol/L) can occasionally lead to patients falling into comas in severe cases.

Sufferers can tell they are experiencing a hypo when they suddenly feel tired, have difficulty concentrating or feel dizzy.

Regular exercise can help to lower blood sugar levels over time, and following a healthy diet and proper meal planning can also avoid dangerous spikes.
