Adam Ramsay-Peaty ended his Commonwealth Games campaign with relay silver before turning his attention to next month's European Championships.

Adam Ramsay-Peaty waved goodbye to the Commonwealth Games with a silver medal as he looks for a quick reset ahead of the European Championships.

Ramsay-Peaty teamed up with Ollie Morgan, Ed Mildred, and Jacob Peters for mixed 4x100m medley relay silver to bring his medal haul from Glasgow 2026 to three.

His pair of individual bronzes and a relay silver would not have been what he had envisioned at the start of the Games, but Ramsay-Peaty leaves Glasgow with a new mindset after making his return to major championships.

The 31-year-old has become used to no longer being invincible but still has the hunger to get back to the top for Los Angeles 2028.

That starts with the European Championships in Paris next month and Ramsay-Peaty knows he faces a race against time to improve on his Glasgow showings.

“It's been a learning curve,” he said. “The Commonwealth Games has always been one of those that challenged me for some reason or another.

“I'm really looking forward to Europeans. We have got a lot of work to do with these next 10 days to have that shift because the way I see it is that we have fallen short by a few percent.

“We compound those two percents, and silvers turn into bronzes and bronzes turn into fourths. That's just the reality.

“We have got the cohesion in the team, we have got the experience in the team to turn around the ship very quick. It’s a two-year project.

I think the whole team would agree that we have probably had a tough look at where we are on that leaderboard. Scotland's ahead of us as well, and we're meant to be having that depth in England. We've got to obviously look at why.

“We won’t have a full debrief but just a quick one to say, okay, how do we turn this around for Europeans?

“I'll almost have to forget the experience I've had this week in my personal situation and learn from it very quickly.”

Thanks to National Lottery players, more than £33m is raised every week for good causes. It’s because of you that sport, arts, heritage and community projects, as well as our athletes competing at the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games, are supported across the UK.
