Digital tools promise to bring farming knowledge to more farmers—but only if they are designed for real needs. The Digital Training Materials projects, led by FiBL, tested a variety of digital tools to deliver knowledge on organic agriculture to smallholder farmers in Kenya, Rwanda, and Mali. This article offers practical recommendations for integrating digital formats into educational and knowledge-sharing activities that are inclusive, practical, and can effectively drive behaviour change.
