Kotak Investment Banking appoints Jayasankar, Sourav Mallik as Co-CEOs

Mumbai: Kotak Investment Banking (KIB), the investment banking arm of Kotak Mahindra Bank, has announced a leadership transition.

The board has appointed V. Jayasankar and Sourav Mallik as Managing Directors and Co-CEOs. They will jointly lead the investment banking business with equal authority, reflecting the firm's focus on leadership continuity and relationship-led growth.

Effective August 1, 2026, Ramesh Srinivasan will move into the role of Non-Executive Vice Chairman for a three-year term after more than three decades with the Kotak Group.

In his new position, he will advise the management on strategy, regulatory matters, client service and key institutional relationships.
