Seth Rogen unexpectedly found himself at the center of The Valley reunion drama after comments he made about Danny Booko on Watch What Happens Live were brought up during the Season 3 reunion.
During a previous appearance on Andy Cohen’s late-night Bravo show, Rogen weighed in on one of the season’s most polarizing storylines: the criticism surrounding Danny’s behavior.
While acknowledging that Danny had acted “inappropriately” at times, Rogen said he felt the backlash had gone beyond holding him accountable.
In an August 2025 visit to Watch What Happens Live, Rogen said some cast members have a vendetta against Danny.
“I think there’s a real vendetta against Danny,” Rogen said, adding that he believed some viewers and cast members had become overly focused on portraying him as the villain.
The actor also referenced the nickname “Dark Side Danny” that emerged throughout the season, suggesting the narrative around Danny had taken on a life of its own.
Rogen also said “The whole Darkside Danny thing is a little confusing as a viewer because very little of it is caught on camera.”
Those comments resurfaced during The Valley reunion when Danny defended himself against criticism from his castmates.
“Seth Rogen on your show said the same thing,” Danny told Andy Cohen. “It’s like, what’s this ‘Dark Side Danny’? I haven’t seen him.”
His remark was quickly met with sarcasm from Lala Kent.
“Well, if Seth Rogen said it!” she quipped, dismissing the actor’s opinion.
In a preview of the reunion for The Valley, Lala Kent wasn’t impressed with Danny using Seth Rogen’s words to defend himself.
Rogen point was that Danny deserved criticism for some of his actions but the relentless focus on his “dark side” had become excessive. He also criticized the hypocrisy of some cast members criticizing Danny’s behavior but defending Jax Taylor’s.
Since the preview for the reunion aired, Rogen has taken to social media comments to defend himself. He’s said that for the record “I think Danny acts COMPLETELY inappropriately.” He’s also asked Danny to “keep my name out of your mouth.”

Looks like Danny lost one of his only defenders.
