Norwegian court confirms € 5.7 million fine for Grindr

Today, a Norwegian court has confirmed that Grindr violated the GDPR by sharing user data with advertisers. This also confirms that Grindr must pay a fine of NOK 65 million (approximately € 5.7 million). The case was based on a complaint by the Norwegian Consumer Council (Forbrukerrådet), which was supported by noyb.
