 Standard Glass Lining Technology Ltd will soon be called Standard Engineering Technology Ltd to reflect its expanded scope and deep capabilities across multidisciplinary engineering.

“The new identity embodies the company’s transition from a single-product manufacturer into a comprehensive precision-engineering enterprise, offering design-to-water-trial solutions under one roof,” Nageswara Rao Kandula, Managing Director of the company, has said.

“This marks our evolution from a specialised glass-lined equipment manufacturer to a high-precision engineering and technology solutions leader serving the global pharmaceutical, chemicals, biotechnology, food and beverage, and process industries,” he said.

The board of directors of the company approved the move to rename the company on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, the company said it delivered resilient and steady growth in the second quarter despite global shipping reschedules that deferred ₹40–45 crore in export dispatches to the next two quarters. “This reflects our operational excellence and financial stability,” he said.

For the second quarter ending September 30, 3025, the company posted a net profit of ₹20.45 crore as against ₹20.90 crore in the comparable quarter last year. During the quarter, it registered revenue of ₹182.78 crore, as against ₹165.36 crore in the comparable quarter of the previous year.

In the first half, it reported a net profit of ₹41.58 crore (₹36.27 crore) on a revenue of ₹356 crore (₹307.19 crore), the company said here in a statement on Thursday.
