The genome sequence of Rhinanthus minor L., 1756 (Lamiales: Orobanchaceae) [version 1; peer review: awaiting peer review]

We present a genome assembly of Rhinanthus minor (Yellow-rattle; Streptophyta; Magnoliopsida; Lamiales; Orobanchaceae). The assembly consists of two haplotypes with total lengths of 1 178.43 megabases and 1 111.10 megabases. Most of haplotype 1 (95.83%) is scaffolded into 11 chromosomal pseudomolecules. Haplotype 2 was assembled to scaffold level. Seven mitochondrial sequences and a plastid genome assembly (145.33 kilobases) were also assembled. This assembly was generated as part of the Darwin Tree of Life project, which produces reference genomes for eukaryotic species found in Britain and Ireland.
