Arnold Gold/Hearst Connecticut MediaSTAMFORD — Parts of Bedford and Forest streets will be closed starting at 7 a.m. Monday for milling operations, city police said.
The closure will affect Bedford Street from Broad Street to Walton Place, and Forest Street from Prospect Street to Bedford Street, Stamford police said.

The department said in a social media post that the road closure is expected to last "a few hours."
Drivers are being asked to plan ahead and allow extra time to travel, or seek alternate routes, police said.
