MOSCOW, July 29. /TASS/. The Russian stock market is making gains at the start of the main trading session, Moscow Exchange data shows. The yuan is also rising.

At the 10:00 a.m. Moscow time market open, the MOEX and RTS indices gained 0.96%, reaching 2,212.26 and 885.55 points, respectively. At the same time, the yuan-to-ruble exchange rate rose 4.65 kopecks from the previous close to 11.7315 rubles.

By 10:20 a.m. Moscow time, the MOEX index pared early gains to 2,207.85 points (up 0.76%), while the RTS index stood at 883.79 points (up 0.76%). Meanwhile, the yuan traded at 11.693 rubles (up 2.6 kopecks).

Earlier, at the 7:00 a.m. Moscow time opening of the morning trading session, the additional Moscow Exchange index (IMOEX2) rose 0.69% to 2,206.24 points.
